2012 China Investment Summit was Successfully Held in Beijing

On May 16, 2012, 2012 China Investment Summit was successfully held in Beijing Crowne Plaza（Zhongguancun）Hotel. The Summit was jointly organized by CCIIP, New York Society of Security Analysts（NYSSA）and CFA China, and received great support from the Government of Beijing Haidian District. More than 200 representatives from governmental departments, investment industry and other business fields attended the Summit. Mr. Mu Peng, the Executive Vice Administrator of Haidian District, Mr. Miao Gengshu, the President of CCIIP, Mr. Greg Marino, the Director of Global Partnerships of NYSSA, Mr. Joey Chan, the Director of Planning and Program Development, CFA Asia Pacific Operations attended the Summit and delivered addresses. Vice Director of China Securities Regulatory Commission of Listed Company Supervision Department, Mr. Yan Bojin and Managering Director of New York Stock Exchange, Mr. Marc H Iyeki delivered keynote speeches. Deputy Director of Investment Promotion Bureau of Haidian Distrcit, Mr. Fu Xiaoming gave a presentation of the investment environment and developing situation of Haidian District. 

Apart from the speech session, three panel discussions were arranged during the Summit, with the theme of “Macro-Economics”,“TMT & Technology”，and “New Energy” respectively. Guest speakers and experts from related research institute, investment agency and companies participated in the panels and held wonderful discussion on the above topics, and actively communicated with the audience. The Summit achieved good effects and received good praises from the Chinese and foreign participants.

In October 2011, CCIIP jointly organized 2011 China-US NYC Forum-Credibility Crisis of US Listed Chinese Companies with NYSSA, which was the first cooperation between CCIIP and NYSSA. 2012 China Investment Summit was the second successful cooperation between the two organizations, which built effective platform for Chinese companied listing in overseas markets, as well as the cooperation in the investment field between China and USA.
