Seminar on Investment & Financing of Environmental Protection Industry was opened in the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou city

On the afternoon of November 9 during the “ 2012’China International Green Innovative Products & Technologies Show”, “Seminar on Investment & Financing of Environmental Protection Industry” was opened in the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou city, Guangzhou province. The Seminar was co-hosted by the Department of Foreign Investment Administration of MOFCOM, P. R. C. and the Environment Directorate of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and was organized by CCIIP. The co-organizers of the Seminar includes China Association of Development Zones, China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA), Shanghai Private Equity Association (SHPEA) and China Environment Chamber of Commerce. More than 200 representatives from famous domestic and overseas venture capital firms, private equity funds and other financial institutions, environmental protection industry related businesses, as well as various national Development Zones, incubation Centers, green development patents show exhibitor representatives, and the media took part in the seminar.

The Seminar was themed “The Investment and Financing Strategy and Practice of Environmental Protection Industry”. Mr. Li Jinzao, Vice Minister of MOFCOM, P. R. C. and Mr. Rintaro Tamaki, Deputy Secretary General of OECD gave addresses at the Opening of the Seminar.
