The 2010 Annual Meeting of CCBC

On December 2, 2010, “the 4th Annual Meeting of China Chile Business Council” was held in Santiago, Chile, with the background that China and Chile celebrated their 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The meeting was jointly hosted by Mr. Zhou Zhongshu, Chairman of CCBC Chinese section and President of China Minmetals Corporation, and Mr. Francisco Silva, the Chairman of CCBC Chilean section. More than 300 government officials, company and institution representatives from China and Chile attended the meeting.

Mr. Lv Fan, the Chinese Ambassador to Chile, and Mr. Andrés Concha, the Chairman of SOFOFA delivered the opening addresses. The Chilean Minister of Finance, Mr. Felipe Larrain, Minister of Economy, Mr. Juan Andrés Fontaine, and attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Madam Qian Fangli, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Commerce of China delivered a keynote address. During the meeting, the two Chairmen of CCBC announced the launching of CCBC websites of both sections. In the afternoon, the Chinese delegates B2B and B2G discussions with nearly 100 Chilean company representatives and institution officers.
